Instructor Bio
Having worked in the outdoors for over 10 years (sometimes with John), I still take great pride and satisfaction by playing a small part and witnessing individuals develop as a result of their experiences. Some of the questions and tensions encountered within this professional practice steered me towards undertaking a PhD, which explores the transfer of learning from adventure residentials.
The ethos of My Expedition Rocks and how national curriculum topics are embedded within delivery provides a refreshing change and allows learning to occur in context.
In any spare time, I enjoy climbing and mountaineering in the UK and internationally (also sometimes with John).
